Social impact commitment

Useful knowledge should not require a sales conversation.

Wingspan Labs is a founder-led practice. We keep selected research and practical decision guides publicly accessible, including for smaller and mission-driven organizations that may not be ready to hire outside help.

What we commit to

A public practice that can be inspected.

This commitment is about what Wingspan Labs publishes, how we describe the evidence, and who remains accountable for keeping it accurate. It is not a statement about measured social outcomes.

  1. Publish selected resources openly.

Selected research and practical decision guides are available without requiring an email address or a sales conversation.

  2. Show the evidence and its limits.

We identify sources, methods, scope, limitations, and material AI assistance so readers can distinguish direct evidence from interpretation.

  3. Keep published work current.

Resources are dated and reviewed. We correct or retire material that no longer reflects the available evidence.

  4. Keep consequential judgment human-owned.

Automated accessibility findings are partial evidence, not a compliance decision. People retain authority over consequential conclusions and next steps.

Public evidence

The source should show both the practice and its boundary.

Each item below supports a specific part of this commitment. None establishes audience reach, beneficiary experience, compliance, or results.

Public library

Public resources library

Demonstrates that selected research and planning guides are publicly available. It does not establish who used them or what outcomes followed.

Research and methods

Automated accessibility scores are not accessibility evidence

Demonstrates a dated, sourced review with methods, limitations, references, and a material-AI-assistance disclosure. It is not legal advice, certification, conformance evidence, or a customer result.

Current site practice

Accessibility statement

Documents this website's current practices, testing methods, and barrier-reporting route. Automated checks do not prove complete conformance.

Decision framework

Should this workflow use AI?

Shows a published framework for scoping AI-supported work, including governance, measurement, and human authority. It is not certification or proof of organizational readiness or outcomes.

Boundaries

What this commitment does not claim.

A public resource proves that Wingspan Labs published that resource. It does not, by itself, prove that the resource produced an outcome.

  • Quantified community impact or beneficiary outcomes
  • Charitable giving, pro bono services, or nonprofit partnerships
  • Certification, legal compliance, or ADA or WCAG conformance
  • Customer, grant, funding, employment, or organizational outcomes
  • Workforce DEI, career-development, work-life, or environmental programs
  • Guaranteed results, endorsements, or third-party validation
